Just got a stage 2 kit from procharger in the last couple of months. The new kits locate the maf in the charge pipe as standard equipment. As for fuel system I would recommend a minimum of a sai li kit with id1050x’s. It’s what I run, but I will say if I had it to do over I would go straight to a fore setup. If you go fore no bap would be required
I would agree and the more you package with your blower at time of purchase the better price you can get. On 93 you could easily run a bap and worst case add a dw400 pump with it BUT I too would get a fuel system and save yourself from having to spend the money again later.

Definitely was a tuning issue. My Procharged car drives smoothly.

Inherently with centris though of course you'll really feel the boost start building after 3500-4k, but its not like an on/off switch like you describe, it's a gradual incline. I'd advise looking into wastegated setups if you want more mid-range and boost to build faster. Made a night and day difference on my car.

I'd advise a 170F thermostat along with the kit. No overheating issues here. On a 18+ the P1X can make 950whp so it's definitely the best head unit choice for you. If your staying on 93 a BAP is sufficient. Especially on an 18+ where the fuel system is more robust. But you'll be limited by octane for sure. Do E85 and a fuel system if you have the ability to.

ahl395,

I would love to hear how you have this set up. Where you welded in the WG, spring pressure in the WG, and Procharger blower you have, and the pulley size. Who did your tuning?

This is where I am seriously considering going.

Glad to hear, last thing i want is the crazy ramp up of the previous setup after spending 7 to 8k or so. I had planned on doing the 170 reiche at time of install anyway, sounds like i should just do the fuel system while im there, i do have easy access to E85, im assuming the flex tune no longer works with a procharger setup and ill need two separate tunes.

That is correct e85 or gas tune.
With e85 the power gains are huge. Get a good fuel system and call it a day!

If you have easy access to E85 it's definitely worth it! More power, consistency, and safety for the motor.

I have lots of info on my setup in my build log, page 3 is where the wastegate starts.

WG is mounted to the intercooler hot side end tank. Did this for cleaner setup I didn't like the WG and BOV both mounted on the pipe.

I have a P1X which took some time to get spring pressure right as the blower was outflowing the gate. 3.85 pulley for around 17psi but target was 12psi originally. 12psi spring made too much so I think an 8psi spring was about right. Ultimately I switched to a 4 port boost controller and a 5psi spring so I can manipulate it however I want, which I cant recommend enough. Lund did my tuning, even my tuner was surprised how fast it built boost after the gate.
