What is interesting? The price or the performance numbers?

I honestly dont find any non manual car exciting. I dont understand why people spend so much to pull two plastic paddle shifters.
For me, it's that middling torque number. Other NA cars in the 350hp range come pretty close to that.

I've driven the new GT3 (not RS) at a couple of tracks now. I'm not a big auto trans fan, but that PDK is so good it makes the car so much fun to drive. The car is great in the corners but the last drive I had in it I was chasing a Viper T/A and he could pull away once we got on the straights. Of course the RS is faster than the non RS but there are less expensive cars that can beat it on track so you have to be a die hard Porka fan to pay this much. A recent comparo of the RS vs a McLaren 675LT had them just about tied lap time wise.

In case anyone cares, the Ebay sale of the OP's car did not happen. Either the only bid at $83K was a fake or it was withdrawn.

I told OP in a PM, if I were him, I'd take the 83k and run. No one will pay 20k adm on a used car!

Its a factual statement. Has nothing to do with me or my opinion being valuable.

20k ADM on a used car? If you follow the used car market for similar rare sports cars, you'd know that any ADM for a used car is a great deal.

I get you BUT the the term ADM should be just thrown out the window for this case. The car should be sold at what's its worth and as rare as the R is and the color, $83k is a very fair price.

Just like anything in life. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for. I have a all original 1956 F100. By original I mean, original paint, interior, engine, trans, rear, glass, interior etc. non molested. The only thing I did to it when I bought it from the original owner was tires, muffler and tail pipe, fluid change, rebuilt the carb, replaced the gas tank, battery and tires. It only has 27000 original miles. I paid $35000.00 yeah it's a lot for a one year olny 1956 F100 but to me it's worth it because it's only original once, but had I been in the market to chop cut and customize it I would of passed because it's to nice to not keep original. It's hard to find anything original today and when you do its best to keep it that way.
Even thought the GT350R hes posted on eBay is a mark up over sticker price, it doesn't mean that's all it's worth because it's "used". People love and want these cars and the adm proves that. Why should he sell it if the price isn't right for him, maybe he had a change of thought and decided to keep it. I myself would keep mine over any other car. I love my car and no other car will change that for "me". Not even money.
Today I went to my dealer to pick up my front and rear lower control arms for my GT350 and they have a 2017 GT350 (non R) white with blue ott stripes and they are asking $89,000.00 :eyebulge: I think that's a crazy price to pay since I paid $5000 over stick and I'm happy with what I paid. But someone will buy this 2017 GT350 at that price.

The bottom line is there haven't been enough resales of Rs to know what the market is.
