Not bad 11whp 8 Wtrq which is on par for most intakes I've seen dynoed. Open hood made slightly more likely due to combo of more air getting to the filter and that air was slightly cooler most likely which helps.
Keep in mind, a moving car will be closer to if not better than hood open on the dyno. Hood closed on a dyno is a worst case scenario.

Not bad for some of the worst air imaginable :) Thanks for posting honest results!

15 hp is significant for such an easy mod! That is a very nice gain with those minimal bolt on mods to go from 370ish stock and untuned to 415!
Corsa advertises only about 5hp gain I think with their catback so here's the proof, CAI is definitely worth the money!
Thanks again Dev1360 and PMAS I hope y'all are on top of the QC because it looks like y'all are going to get an alarming amount of orders. Congratulations on a great design :headbang:

Thanks for sharing your results, I'm guessing the car had a large fan in front of it while dynoing?

Even if it did it would have been the same conditions for the stock intake and the PMAS. But he says he did it with the hood closed.

FWIW, this was angled straight into the intake area of the grille.

You will also see larger gains with cooler, more dense air. Remember restriction increases exponentially with more air (same as more dense air). Same thing goes as you mod the car. As you make more power, the intake will gain more compared to the stock intake.

If you look at the pic, the restriction gap gets larger as flow increases.

We actually found out it was more from Fedex breaking open boxes and losing parts than our QC lol. Except the wrong length bolts for the coolant tank.. that was totally us :/

Thanks for the pic, also the stock numbers you posted, was that the very first pull on the dyno or was it averaged out of other stock pulls?

Agreed and also larger gains especially in the higher RPMs with a GT350(or a CJ or Boss 302) intake manifold and long tube headers.
