The only dyno chart I've seen is from a Dynojet...

That video wasn't done in the proper gear.. That sounded like a 3rd or 4th gear pull.. Hense the low TQ #s

The only dyno chart I've seen is from a Dynojet...

If we trust these dyno's then we are all in trouble. Steeda showed 22whp increase on their dyno and they even compared it to the other intakes back in the day. Non of these dyno's are done hood closed either, and when you swap intakes during the testing, the car cools down and it puts down more hp and torque in the next dyno.

The only way to prove these intakes work is to take a stock car with the cai on the strip and compare the timing or a mile race to see how fast the car is reaching tripple digit speeds. Use an auto car let it shift for u and start with a roll. Maybe take 10 runs for stock and stock + cai. Take the standard deviation of the results and compare it to stock. This will take money and time for sure. But whoever does this and prove the intake works will gain customers of a life time and respect.

Two of my friends test the PMAS on a Mustang Dyno last weekend.

One is a 2016 GT A6. The car best et is 11.57@120 with tune, stock airbox, BBK lth off road, Dynomax muffler and DR. On the dyno it gain 17hp and 21tq with the PMAS over stock airbox (back to back pull). The only modification is the incorporation of the table supply by PMAS for the mass.

The other car is a 2011 GT A6. Best et is 11.76@119 with tune, cat delete and DR (stock airbox, stock muffler). With the same method (back to back pull with only incorporation of the new mass table on the tune) it gain 16hp and 21tq over stock airbox.

The best is that the gain is from 2,500 to 6,500, not only at the peak.

Conclusion, I bought my third CAI (after the JLT and the Steeda) I hope this one is the good one. If not, my wife will kill me :doh: Next step track time!

We could do marketing tricks like posting that our kit can pic "up to25WHP" or up to 40WHP (with a tune) because honestly, if you look at the graph it does pick up that much in places and it should make 40 with a good tune.

I'm just trying to post honest real world results. This way when you guys put it on and go test it for yourself you are impressed instead of being disappointed.

Lol well look into our HPX-F maf when you go turbo. you will need it if you make more than 800WHP anyway

I am very excited about this CAI. Sounds like some amazing engineering went into this and I love to see that. Going to get my first rounds mods done soon, suspension and exhaust. After that is done, this will be on my wish list.

Way to go PMAS. Would love to see some more user reviews and comparison.

Just ordered a PMAS specifically to test and log. It will be on the same dyno, same day.

My tuner is very skeptical. Says that although the car is not "tuned" timing is added due to different load factoring from the stock MAF.

My car is already tuned on flex fuel/E85 from him and has gone 116 in the quarter with stock intake and manifolds/cats.
