The panic button on the remote is many times easier to accidentally set off than on any other car I've ever owned. Is there any way I can disable the stupid ass thing? I'm tired of getting the shit scared out of me because the horn starts honking at me for no good reason. Taking a step slightly longer than average, or daring to sit down, should not set off a bunch of screaming retardation.

Never had that problem with mine. Doubt there is a way to 'disable' it without physically removing the button in the remote itself.

If there's not, I'll try to find a way to stop the button from functioning. If that doesn't work then the horn will be unplugged.

I used to have this problem too which was really embarrassing. Haven't really found a permanent solution but I'm just more mindful of how I put the keys in my pocket.

Key Fob cover to keep from accidentally hitting panic button

Last year, on this forum, there were several key fob covers mentioned. I bought a couple and the fob buttons are recessed just enough to prevent accidental activation.
Do a 'search' for 'key fob cover'.
