I will look into this tomorrow when I get into the office.

We will ensure changes are made if need be and those who were shorted washers, receive them.

I just grabbed some extra fender washers and installed them..is the kit supposed to have 4? I installed it with 2 provided and my 2. I don't need the extra hardware. Just letting your know.

Yes, the kit should come with (4) washers.

OK well maybe the first batch came with incorrect hardware and incorrect instruction. I'll be good with a custom brace to clear my Kooks....deal ? Hahaha:headbang: another first run kit we installed had incomplete hardware also as a fyi

Guess what came in the mail today! Guess what came on the mail today! Ha, my BMR front subframe brace was delivered. Pulled in the driveway and there it was in all its glory? Just sitting on the front porch waiting, just waiting to be installed and to carry out the rest of its life helping me increase those G's around corners.

Didn't have time to tear into the box being that it's late already and have to put the son to bed, just got home from another baseball game (make up for rained out game). Anywho, I'll open it up tomorrow and check out the hardware and instructions and we'll go from there. Later people's!

Instructions were wrong, as far as what size tools to use and where. Mine only had two washers also.

My kit came in with only 2 washers as well. Didn't even notice the instructions stating I also needed a washer on the bolt head side.

Should be fine I think... :ninja:

Received the kit yesterday. Came with 4 washers. Looks like the missing washer problem has been addressed. Thank you BMR!

just installed mine, replaced my steeda GTrac, but I havent driven it yet. The main annoying part is installing the spacers. You may have some "hanging chads" from the machine stamping. You can hammer the spacers in if the fitment is tight and use a pry bar or screwdriver to line it up. Rest is cake.

I received one from the 5/3 batch on 5/4. I installed it 5/5 and I ran into two of the install issues. Not the Header fitment problem as I don't have them yet. But the 4 hole tabs were still there. They easily popped out with just a screw driver. Had to use a magnet to pull a couple of them back out of the tube when they landed too far in to reach with a finger. Then the spacer issue. The right side spacer slid into place easily. I dropped a bolt thru it to keep it from moving it went in so easily. The left side was the opposite. The spacer could not fit because the tube was dimpled on top and bottom when the holes were punched.

The entire install from jacking up to letting it down took 2 hours. Almost one hour of that was prying the dimpled holes edges out enough to slide the left spacer into place. Pry and try over and over again. Then finally success, the spacer went in and I was done a short 15 min later.

The immediate effect for me was subtle but real, the front end felt solid, tighter. I mean a lack of extra movement in the steering, like it was more accurate.

If I have to remove this to fit the headers I want that will be a problem.
