Only have access to 91oct. NOS octane booster question?

Hey friends the owners manual says not to use octane boosters containing MMT. The NOS octane booster has this. What happens to the car using this? Why would ford metion it on the manual?

To answer your question, or to try to, maybe it has an effect on the O2 sensors or the cats?

Octane boosters are best left to the guys running boost. If your car is stock you shouldn't be using the stuff. It leaves a yellow/orange residue all over your valves and plugs.

Forgot I was on a mustang forum, exhaust is the new rice fart can, throttle body spacers add horsepressures, spark plugs pick up 20hp and air intakes are worth discussion if they add .001 hp over the other or come with some cheap piece of clear plastic to cover the filter and intake manifolds that loose 40 ft lbs of tq where you need it but gain 20 hp where you dont need it and cost thousands are considered quality mods.

I didn't think anyone would take that seriously.

I know civic to mustang is my user name, but it's more "here's my soulless steel cage that efficiently gets me from point A to point B, than "civic, vroom-vroom." In fact the only non stock things on my civic are the floormats (weather tech), cabin air filter (Fram is cheaper than OEM), and engine air filter (Fram is cheaper than stock). Oh and one of my batteries died so I popped in whatever Sears sells (die hard maybe?).

The Torco does work, but it contains MMT.

VP octanium from Auto Zone actually works, too, without MMT.

(Not recommended for use with catalytic converters or o2 sensors)
