special tools for supercharger install?

I tried searching but didn't really find anything regarding what special tools (if any) are required for a supercharger install. I imagine it would be more than just a set of wrenches and sockets?

That would depend on the brand of supercharger. I happen to have the instructions for Procharger sitting here, which lists:

• 3/8" Socket Set (standard & metric)
• Torx set
• Open End Wrench Set (standard & metric)
• 5/16" Nut Driver
• Hex Bit Set (allen) (standard & metric)
• Flat Screwdrivers
• Phillips Screwdrivers
• Plier Set
• Ford Engine Coolant (Pink)

torque wrenches ft lbs and in lbs, panel removal tool helps with all those plastic pop rivet things, breaker bar, jack stands

If all else fails duct tape and a sledge hammer.

You can do it with alot less tools but I have them so I use more then really needed

There are always the tools that are required and then there are the tools that make the job easier or safer. If this is a one time big install, then it may not make sense to buy all the extra tools. If this is something you are going to continue to do ever a lifetime, make the investment.

^ this... Why do I have 4 different versions of a 15mm wrench? Because each one can make any number of situations easier to handle.

I guess it's a lot of factors to consider, but that procharger tools list makes me think I could actually do that one myself without too much of a hassle lol

Here are the tools I used to do a ProCharger system install from start to finish.
The only thing not in the photo is the flat blade and philips screw driver.
(No joke)

Didn't even use a jack or jackstand. Can do the whole install in your driveway if you want to.

Niiiiiice, I'm thinking this might sway my decision because it's something I definitely want to do myself, and while I do have quite a number of tools I definitely don't have everything

If you are looking to spend upwards of $7K what is another $200 for tools you can use later?

This is true, I can check out prices for the tools but I'm also thinking complexity of installation and time it would take me. I just have to consider everything, really
