Mach 1 for Australia, It's Possible

Well, it's early days with a suspected Mach 1 Mule being tested and photographed.

I'm trying to think positive, it's possible that the RHD market could get this once it's released..

*It's not far of the Mustang GT, so ADR rules wouldn't require a major overhaul, not like a GT350.

*Come end of 2017 we won't have a lot of Aussie made Commodores or Falcons for Ford to Sell. (this could eat into HSV sales if no V8 Option is available)

* Special model's such as Mach 1, normally make the company more money, so ford AU could put a premium on these.

*The UK market love these things, increases RHD production amount for Ford.

There are properly a few more things that make it possible, but can't think of any at the moment.

The big question, will Ford AU push for it, I'm sure we would pay more for one of these special editions... i would if there was a performance increase...

Come 2018, Mustang GT and EB's will be common, a bit like seeing a 86 or BRZ around.

People like exclusive models, think HSV, and the old Ford performance models.

What do you guys think...

Would be surprised if we got it to be honest. Think ford will continue to keep it simple until the point sales really start to slow. Would be nice if we did though.

If the Boss, Mach 1, GT500 ever make it here i'll be the first one knocking at the door, as much as I hate waiting since Ford told me to cancel my order if I wanted Grabber Blue i'm now waiting for mid 2017 for the updates.

I know what you mean James. I love grabber blue as I had a 70 Boss 302 in grabber blue. That would also have been my choice in colour but went for the competition orange instead.

No we do not. However we got lumbered with that spec bonnet. The same goes for the DRL's....dont mind me just having a whinge

I think the Mach 1 could be released globally. By all reports so far it is not that dissimilar to the GT.

Well, I blame the EU for those silly laws.......but I'll apologise on their behalf for you having to put up with those things!

Just another reason to leave when we have our say at the end of June (ooops, not politics, eh? )

It sounds great doesn't it....i watched this clip before posting this thread, should have linked in the video at the time.

If any of these special edition became available here, most guys on here would seriously think about trading up..

I could have changed to comp orange but baby is due in Sept right when the car would have turned up so part of Ford saying cancel if I want grabber blue + baby = Wait for the updated Mustang. (and I love comp orange too Mark good choice)

If a Mach 1 or Boss came out and sounded like that Jack79 at least I know I wouldn't need mods keep it all original
