It would be nice to see another option over here, and the extra Oil cooling and Transmission cooling from factory would be nice.
That Figher Jet Grey (Appearance Package Exclusive) would be my choice, looks awesome
An lightweight aluminium modular chassis and aluminium panels with AWD would be great.
Now that would be fun to drive, loved my driving AWD Subaru WRX and Legacy GT.
Awesome, thanks for that.
i haven't seen a 2018 with the recaro's, so i wasn't sure.
That would work, lever is the best option for me.
I wasn't that fussed on the standard seats as i didn't feel there was enough support
Just a quick question, in regards to the Recaro seat lever that allows the back to adjust the back backwards.
Is it a lever, electric button or a euro style knob.
The reason, is i when sitting in the car seat, i need to lean the backrest back to throw a wheelchair over my chest into the rear...
Really, 2 star's who cares if its not 5 star... and i'm a Paraplegic from a Car Accident
If you have an major accident, the odds of injuries are by variables outside of your control...5 star doesn't mean you will live or come out the other side with out major injures.
It's not a family...
im a huge fan of the tech advancement, dash, engine improvements and new auto trans.
like all car models, they release a crap looking model, the 2015-17 will go down as the best looking mustang, just i do rate them over a classic 64.. the 2015-17 is just a beautiful beast.
all i can hope for...
I can see an aftermarket company out now with the drawing pencils, sketching up a new front end.
I hope they come up with something nice to replace the factory front end, or i'll be picking up a 2016/17 model, once i'm back from my travels
They normally change over to the Next MY model in June or July, so i'd say at least November at least and January 2018 for an RHD AUS delivered is a better bet
Yeah there are no guarantees if the MY18 will be better looking that the MY15,16,17.
As far as i known, is only a rumour that its getting 10 speed auto and some other goodies, nothing has been confirmed by ford.
until is confirmed, its just speculation...
The My18 is only light update, nothing major so RHD will be almost a 99% Its the next major chassis update in 2020ish if i recall that may be a concern.
I started this thread over the My17 or My18, but as the timing was close i decide i might as well wait for the My18,
Then i ended up...
Well my Vehicle is on the Ship, I've been watching it head down the through Europe, West Africa and now its on its way towards Australia.
Is it a Mustang... No, at the time i couldn't get a dealer to put me down for a MY18, so with that in mind.
I decided to wait, and Ordered myself a New...

Interesting that they are staying naturally aspirated, 351kW has a nice ring to it.
I doubt ford would chip in, they have been tightasses for years.
The Mondeo is a strong possibility, if the body fits the current chassis, plus all the development work has been done.
But a Mondeo isn't exciting, who wants to drive one of those.
Time will tell
They need time to develop the Supercar mustang, so your right, i think 2018 would be the earliest we see a Supercar chassis dressed up as a mustang.
Plus they need to offload the last of the 2107 Falcons, so its 99.9% that that the Falcons and Commodores will have one final blast...
mmm, your right about the supercars, needing the brands, no one wants to see it turn in to the Holden cup.
For supercar AU to be successful you need the Ford vs Holden, yes in the next few years it'll be "based on USA built design's. but as long as its Ford vs GM, that will keep the diehards...
Just another though, these guys, Prodrive Racing Australia, i believe have their own team in the supercar series,
So would it be safe to say, a supercar mustang is on its way, when the format changes to allow 2 door cars in the near future.
Win on Sunday, sell on Monday :)
So i wonder if this will be the offical ford australia supplier of improved mustangs with superchargers instead of sending them of to get installed aftermarket.

if not, well it'll be good to...
