Not interested in Mach 1 as have a Bullitt but if I was it would be the standard one without the handling pack. Too boy racer for me.

Dropping in after work tomorrow. Putting deposit down, they were happy to put “subject to handling package” on the contact. Gives me a back out if it just doesn’t add up for me.

Has anyone been able to put in a proper order yet? All I’ve got is the “give us $1,000 and we’ll write your name on this piece of paper” nonsense... I’m not convinced that will secure a car to be honest...
mate give it a go ....I was in the same position with my bullitt ....1000 down and then out of the blue 7 months later the dealer rings and says he can deliver one in 10 days .....good times !

Well, I got pricing info, they want $99,990 drive away.

Just too much for me, so withdrew. Sadly, however everyone has a budget.

Titan Ford in Melville (Perth) will have one available if anyone is keen.

If I didn't have a Bullitt but wanted a hot mustang I think I would buy a GT and supercharge it for that money. The new Mach 1 doesn't even have a shaker!!

Ford have brochure for download on website, most goodies included with GT350 manual gearbox (or 10 speed auto), omissions from the Handling Package appear to be wider wheels and Pilot Cup 2 tyres, Rear Spoiler with gurney flap and front splitter. Guess you could option them from spare parts in US but that would be an expensive kit.

Recaro seats are an option (lose seat cooling/heating), figure that will be an at cost addition.

If you take US pricing of $57k approx for a non-handling package car and then add 5% import duty and 10% GST with an exchange rate of approx $0.70USD = $1AUD it does end up in the high nineties. User pays I guess... Makes an R-Spec look good!

This is around the price I had in mind. Out of my price range unfortunately. It does make the R Spec look good but that’s because they were modified here in Aus so that kept the price down, but that’s if you are keen for a manual only.(Which is no good when I need the wifey to be designated driver).

Price seems “ok” but no Handling Package is a deal breaker for me.

Seems like the bits missing are wheels, spoilers and tyres. Much easier to acquire post purchase than a Tremec Gearbox or the heat exchangers etc. Disappointing they aren't included but that's what we get for being a small outpost the other side of the Pacific Ocean.

That was a manual, JFG. At that point I stopped him as I wasn’t interested at that price.

There appears to be something hanging off the lower rear of the front right guard on the red '70 in the brochure, just over the mach1 badge.
