Yeah, I agree with you. Mine was built on 25th February and according to my update yesterday from FB Ford AU she won't be leaving Baltimore till 9th April on the Tijuca. As the Tijuca arrives in Melbourne on 12th May before most likely heading up here to Brisbane, it'll be pretty tight to hit the 90 days till delivery mark of 25th May.

If your March build made it onto the Tamerlane (leaves 18th April) and you live in Melbourne (arrives 21st May), then maybe the 28th May is possible, but otherwise it'll be early to mid June.

Ford Facebook has been, in my opinion, the only reason alot of us have been holding on.
The dealers proved to me again today that they have no concept of customer service.
Last night i seriously couldnt sleep after typing in my VIN number into ETIS and finding that the car coming up was an automatic when i ordered a manual.
I took the advice of a few of you guys on here and went straight to my dealer this morning. After telling the confused looking salesman, he goes back in his office for 20mins, the whole time im thinking, here we go, he is going to come back out and tell me of the mix up thats going to mean my car is further delayed then expected.
He comes back and tells me they gave me the wrong NSC number and my car has already been built and is on the docks at baltimore.
As happy as i am of this bit of good fortune, its a bit disappointing to see they hadnt made any contact what so ever to tell me anything since January.
Hang in there guys, I have been waiting since Feb 2015 . . . If i can do it, you all can!!

I heard a rumour that the export model build numbers will increase due to the US market going into winter and their demand decreasing for a few months.

Could be a reason I guess.

I never had a locked in build date but delivery was mentioned as early 2017.

Probably January.

I ordered early June last year and was told April build as well from my dealer and ford FB team. Haven't had any update though in over a month. It had better be built in April..

I note with interest that you ordered your car in June 2015.

History of my car.

Ordered on the 10th June 2015.
At the time of ordering, my Dealer advised to expect a 12 to 13 month delivery.

October 2015.
My Dealer advised my car was "probably" going to be built in May 2016 with a "probable" delivery date of July 2016.

My car was built on the 10 March 2016, exactly 9 months to the day from when I ordered it.
I believe it is either in transit to Baltimore or at Baltimore.
I'm waiting on Deysha to give me an update.

My Dealer has advised an expected delivery date of 21st May 2016.

It is interesting to see when guys have ordered their cars, when they are built, then delivered, compared to others.

It is my understanding that when you order your car, your Dealer may not place the order with Ford Australia immediately.
This would then delay your place in the 'build que', compared to a Dealer who might have placed the order with Ford Australia immediately you ordered it.

Others ordered before me and still haven't got a build date. I just really hope mine really is getting built next month so I can see the end in sight..

mwizz, keep checking your window sticker (process is pinned on initial Aus forum page). I ordered 3rd March 2015 and after continually checking saw my windows sticker appear a couple weeks ago - that will give you your build date. Think us Adelaideans are getting the least amount of our orders filled in sequence to the date we signed our contract as I see most in other states jumped me in the queue..some by many months ! :frusty:

I think the launch of the Mustang in Australia, the advent of online tracking, and the fact that the Mustang is an enthusiast car with active forums where we all talk to each other is a bit of a perfect storm for Ford that they just weren't prepared for and are unable to react to. In the past, none of us would have had any idea of the status of anyone else's orders making it hard to compare or even recognise a problem.

Whether Ford chooses to recognise and fix the inequities in its system remains to be seen. I'm not holding my breath. :frusty:

You need to message them -

Find Ford Australia on FB, then I think you need to Like them, then you can Message as one of the options. They'll ask for your NSC.
