May 2016 so I have no VIN yet. Sent a email to Ford team WTF? Why is everyone getting their cars ahead of me.

I don't have a VIN, so build date is subject to change (according to Ford Australia on FaceBook).
Dealer is like "good news ... you now have a build date" - trying to put a positive spin on HAVING a build date.
Meanwhile all I can think about is why this new build date is not the March build date that was reported previously; not to mention it isn't even locked in!

Ssb, I was advised a Feb build date in about October last year. My Window Sticker has just come live and the blend is early March (this week). It seems there has been a slip of a few weeks so not likely anything to stress too much about. Interestingly ETIS still has no build date (30.11.0002)

Ssb my Vert was supposed to be built January but I have recently been given a build date of 28/03/16. Given I ordered 5th March 2015 it sits with the roughly 12 months from order to build that seems to be happening. Think your May build is spot on given this mate. Still sucks having to wait...

Yeah, initially the dealer said end of June, so its not 'wrong' from what was originally quoted, its annoying that it became a "March Build" for May/June delivery, then "yes, its a March build, you can get a VIN in March, then no VIN, no VIN, oh, good news, its going to be an April build!"
In some ways I'd prefer they shut up and didn't say anything rather than getting false hope up.
On an unrelated but related note... ordered black '5.0' badges, one side (?!) is on back-order. A week later its going to take another 2.5 weeks! It seems there's delays on bits everywhere!

SSB don't bother asking dealer mate. Facebook message or email Ford Service (AUS) as they have been the best source for correct info.

They haven't yet told me the 4th of April, that came from my dealer - which I believe, because there's still no VIN.
... and that's kinda my point - nobody in any part of Ford seems to have any idea when or why anything is happening, so they'd be better off with "I don't know".
When can I expect my car if I order today? "I don't know".
Ok, can you tell me if it will come with XXX? "I don't know".
Will DIB be available if I order now? "I don't know".
Is there anything you do know? "Well, I can tell you the price. IF you order now, to beat the price rise".
