Fuel Drain for race fuel?

Does anyone have any genius ideas on how to drain the fuel from my car. I have a dyno day coming up on Saturday and the weather has been complete crap so I have not had any opportunities to go drive it out. I want to run straight race fuel for the dyno and need to get all of the 91 out of the tank. Can I just unhook the fuel line and turn the cars ignition on? or will this not keep the fuel pump running? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Get your tuner to send you a tank drain tune. That's what I use and it works great.

this isn't necessary at all. it doesn't take a lot of race gas to get the benefits of a whole tank. if you are down to 1 or 2 gallons (which seems to be around 1/4 tank on this car) and you fill up with race gas, you will get no extra benefits from draining your tank.

I've never drained a tank in 300+ cars tuned.

So you'd tune a high compression stock motor on boost with 20-22* of timing with a blend of 2 gallons 93 and 2 gallons race gas?

2 gallons of 93, 5 gallons of 116 makes 109.43 octane.

2 gallons isn't enough to properly tune a car so that would be just plain dumb, wouldn't it, country boy?

Maybe he already has a tune that's been dialed in for race gas and 2 would be enough for a few passes.

This! 110 octane is going to make all the power. If you are using the flight control it will advance the timing as safe as possible anyway. There is most likely a max timing value anyway so you will not make a better number draining the tank.

I have 104 unleaded and yea i was just trying to get the most out of the race fuel that I could. I have the whipple tune so no new tuning is necessary, just going to play with the flight control some.
