If your car was also a late February build then it should have made it on-board. Or are you referring to seeing early March builds already loaded? I'm trying to work out average wait times at Baltimore and right now it seems they spend at least three weeks there after arriving before being allocated. I've also heard this is when the anti-corrosive treatment is applied.
Yeah, I've got a message from Ford AU FB telling me "minimum 3 weeks" - I have an early March build (2 March to be exact) and have seen Mustangs built only a few days earlier on the Tijuca

And I've just double checked and there is one built on the same date as me... and also one built 2 days after

Luck of the draw I know... hopefully I'll only need to wait another week to have it on a ship

The transit time also seems to be all over the place. IngoStang had his car built on 10th February and it didn't arrive at Baltimore till 10th March. Mine was built on 25th February and was at Baltimore by the 7th March. Based on all this though you seem a sure bet for Tamerlane.

Regarding the wait time on the docks, a minimum of three weeks is what I was also told. If that continues to hold true it would mean a Baltimore arrival of no later than 28th March to make it on board Tamerlane and the 6th April for Salome.

Yeah there is certainly no way of guessing when your car will get from point A to point B. The worst thing is it puts a sense of false hope in us all once its been built because " realistically " speaking how long could a finished car possibly take to go from a factory, onto a train, to the docks?

The wait was far easier for me when it hadn't been built because there was no expectations........ out of sight out of mind type thing. But now knowing its built and so close, it just makes the wait seem like an eternity.

When I finally get onto a boat I may become Aus's first pirate and intercept it at the first port :D

This is what I got from Ford AU on FB this morning: Car was built on 18th March.. (2 weeks ago)

Hi Jonno,
We can see that your Mustang hasn't boarded a train as yet to be sent to the docks. It does go through a quality check at the plant before proceeding to the docks. We can confirm that it has been built. If you would like to message us again in a week we will be happy to check for you again. Thanks FordService^CZ

They must be quality checking the crap out of the car for me.. Hope its perfect when it comes here..

Any idea when we can expect vehicles (VINs) to be allocated for the Tamerlane which is scheduled to embark on the 18/04?

Sigh, think I've worn out the 'Track and Trace' tab and starting to see 'No records Found' whenever I close my eyes.
Is this how addictions start?
Of course I probably made things worse- yesterday Brett from Autoware took me for a quick spin in his GT! The agony has multiplied by 1000%!!
Seriously, nice car, great guy and awesome products!
Cheers Brett, much appreciated!

Hi ssb

This was reported on this site, 4 or 5 weeks ago.
Oops, guess I missed it - too many threads.
So was that in AU or Baltimore?

Pretty sh*tty situation all round

How many people here have managed to sneak onto a ship in around 3 weeks? My car arrived at Baltimore yesterday, 14/04/16 US time. 23 days from when my car arrived until the Figaro sets sail. Hoping I can sneak onto it.. Otherwise will have to resign myself to the Talisman in a months time. :(
