Update: 26 Mar 2016

Thera are a few extra ships listed, hoping my car may make the last boat on the list (promised for July).

Some Tsyla cars have been booked, but I suspect that there will be lots more in the next couple of days. 64 cars are booked for Auckland and we usually have lots more coming to Aus when compared to NZ.

Interestingly, for the first time that I have noticed, there is mention of a few Mustangs being shipped from Port Hueneme, California and going to Japan. There was some talk earlier that Mustangs may ship to us from the west coast of the USA, making it a shorter and quicker voyage.

I've also include my working sheets for some of the later boats, to track the shipments, just for interest sakes! The info is:
Boat Name, Bill of Lading number, Booking number, number of Cars booked, Port of Discharge

Does anyone know how are the Tamesis cars getting back to PK and Brisbane?

My dealer told me that cars get to Sydney either by boat through Port Kembla, which is the faster method, or via truck from Melbourne. I would guess yours will come via truck.

That makes perfect sense, no use making customers happy. If Ford could, I bet they would bring it up via dog sled :frusty:

Update: 02 Apr 2016

There seems to be a bit of a slow down with shipments, the last 3 ships carrying well less than 100 cars each.

At least cars seemed to be unloaded in their home ports now, rather than coming to Melbourne and then either being shipped or carried back by road to Port Kembla and Brisbane.

Cheers to all those who have their cars, and those on boats. Finally have my own VIN, the wait is killing me!

Hi Davo,

Thanks very much for the detailed info mate, this would be helping a heap of people who can't get any info out of Ford, much appreciated.

Just out of interest, for the Tijuca leaving 10th April how are you seeing 31 cars coming for Sydney (Port Kembla offload point)? My shipping details went up on the WWL track & trace link yesterday, there is no bill of lading yet but when I put the booking number in I get a manifest with 15 VIN's confirmed on it for Port Kembla (12x 1FA6's and 3x 1FAT's).

I realise the info I have may be incomplete, but I'm just wondering for other folks who haven't received their shipment info yet, whether more cars than the 15 I can see will make it on to the Tijuca booking between now and 10th April?

Thanks again for your help,

JJ

EDIT - sorry Davo you can ignore this query, just saw your post on the Tijuca thread and can see there are 2 different booking numbers for PK deliveries, one for 16 and one for 15, total 31 Stang's for PK. Thanks mate.

Davo - thanks for the update and congrats on getting your VIN :)
Jarv23, I can see a Booking number that has 16 VINs (13x 1FA6 and 3x FAT), I'm guessing there are 2 bookings for Port Kembla

Unfortunately I haven't found my VIN on the site yet... my Mustang was only made 2 days after some I know are on the ship so I'm hoping it makes it, otherwise it's likely to be on the Tamerlane

If your car was also a late February build then it should have made it on-board. Or are you referring to seeing early March builds already loaded? I'm trying to work out average wait times at Baltimore and right now it seems they spend at least three weeks there after arriving before being allocated. I've also heard this is when the anti-corrosive treatment is applied.

Beat me to it Tarrax! Sometimes an booking number gets added very close to shipping, but more often than not there are no last second shipping updates. That's disappointing, knowing that many cars are sitting on the dock waiting for a boat.

Sorry mate. I'm just getting excited for mine, so checking and posting a lot. :ninja:

Agree the dock waiting is very frustrating. I can still clearly see an image of "No records found" whenever I close my eyes. :headbonk:

It's all good. :headbang: You're ahead of me, I've got the damn image from the researchmaniancs.com website looking for my window sticker "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle." Now, I know it's only updated of Friday arvo our time, but I've still checked 50 times since then!:frusty:

Hi Davo, the window sticker is not going to appear until, earliest 6 days, before the actual build date. I still kept checking for weeks before it finally appeared, and "oh what a feeling" it was. :D
