You won't without modification to the shock towers. I didn't want to do that, so I went with a 393cid Windsor instead.A restomod 66 is next on my list. Nice 50 year spread between the two! I just need to figure out how to shoe-horn a coyote into one
I'm near Madison and would be interested in the K code :cheers:Thanks for all the kind words. For those that have asked, the Boss 302 is a School Bus Yellow 2013 bought new from the dealer in MN that I am getting the GT350R from. It is not a Laguna Seca model but has all other options and only 2500 miles. I searched for 10 plus years for my 1966 Fastback GT K Code and have owned it for over 10 years. It's won many awards but one of my favorite memories was winning "Best Street Car" at the 2014 Historic Races at Road America. I'd love to keep both of these cars the but money for the Shelby has to come from someplace. I will try to figure out how to post pictures soon.

They wanted $10K over. I paid MUCH less.I always heard that a few allocations get issued at the end of the cycle. Is it rude to ask what they wanted for it? I expect they are asking typical ADM. Just curious, as a friend on West Coast just told me a local dealer is offering 2 non Rs at invoice. I told him: first, I don't believe it (probably bait & switch) and second, to take it if its real. :eyebulge:
My R is scheduled Apr 4 (ordered August 5), so yours will likely be one of the last ones. I think they build MY16 up to a June date (exact date is posted somewhere here). From posts here, after your confirmed build date, it will be 4 weeks or so to get the car.
Congrats on such a deal and good luck!:ford:
I'd also like this informationJoe I have to say that 66 looks awesome. I think a R is not worth selling that if it is as clean as it looks in the pics. Make it work without selling the 66. Send me a pm with your price for the 66. I assume it is a real K code 4spd gt 66with rally pack and what rear end ratio were they. Is that correct.
Dam I love that car right behind my favorite 65 gt350.
Go get it Tony
Congrats !! Given what many went thru to get in line, I am glad there are a few extra. Sounds like you got a great deal to boot. Good luckThey wanted $10K over. I paid MUCH less.

Good looking coupe. I have a coyote swapped coupe so if you have any questions, let me know! PS - cheaper to buy one already done but you probably know this! There will be a Coyote going into this car soon though:
