So, are you suggesting having the ability to adjust on the fly is a bad thing? I have 750 rwhp that I can tame down if I want to and to me that's the epitome of having the best of both worlds.

Ok, well lets put it this way.
Do you use Advance Trac while racing? Either N/A or Boosted?
If not, why? It's basically what you're saying with the Whipple Tune.
It's an added nanny to limit power and try to over-correct a slipping situation.

I know I'll get a lot of flak from the Whipple boys, but its just an opinion.

One could make the same argument in response: what's the point in making extra power only to limit it at all non-insane speeds.

I'm not dismissing the flight software. I think it's cool. I just think e85 is cooler, and here in CA where we have terrible 91oct that's more like 87 in other states, e85 is King (luckily it's everywhere in my city)
Customers in RI, Mass, NY, MI, etc. drive in the snow, some let there significant other drive the car, some let car washers drive the car, some take it to the dealer, some take to a shop to install a muffler. These are just all examples of reasons separate from traction.

Then you add all the safety settings which can be over ridden because some just hate "nannies" so to speak. This is the reason we can make more power, we have all the data, all the right settings and can use the PCM to it's full capacity.

FYI, this is just version 1, we are not done :) Still got more left in the tank

No flack from me, we all have opinions.

I guess I don't see your point that's all. I can reduce power in the first 2 gears to help with traction for my day to day use and let it all out when I want to. Personally, that's perfect.

As stated, here in MA we have to deal with inclement weather quite often. I also have a 21 year old son who sometimes drives my car along with my wife. It's a wonderful option that I will be taking advantage of.

Obviously full power and all nannies off for off-road use [emoji106]

Yeah I'm aware of MA/New England winters. Lived in mass for 16 years before moving to NH for 10. Now I'm enjoying the weather down in NC ;)

I don't usually have anyone driving my car, so I guess if you want to have some type of safety for those others that take your car out. I can understand that.
Since day one I've been holding the traction control button to turn off the Damn advance Trac as I'm starting to drive the car. I wish Lund could tune it off, until I press the button to turn it on. I'm just not much a fan of nannies

WHIPPLE FTW!

x3!

When are we going to see a "Whipple" branded Mustang?
If I had to pick between a "Shelby" or a "Whipple" branded factory Mustang I would go "Whipple". Its time that Art, Dustin and the Whipple team be recognized. Whipple has reached OEM level customer support(actially better than OEM), OEM level engineering and OEM quality.
Ford, you listening?

I'd be first in line for one I can tell you that! I couldn't agree more :)

Sounds like something might already be "in the works"?
If so, then rock on :headbang:

You don't have to wait or pick, you can both, Whipple and Shelby in one package now.

The Shelby S550 and F150.

Shelby Mustang with 2.9L Whipple minute 4 on shows engine and whipple tire frying fun. Lone the whipple whine.

You know a blown GT and a GT350 are different purpose cars, right? Of course you do, forget I asked.

Here's an idea...now hear me out...GET BOTH!
I certainly know the difference. I love all types of cars and all types of racing. Love the GT350 for what it is and I also love modifying cars as a hobby. I wish I could own both but unfortunately, I have to save for a while to own one of the 2. If I had your deep pockets, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of each. (turbo car, blown car, Gt350, & Ford GT)
