One of the nicest things about the 1LE is it's a package. Check Box order a whole lot of car.

With the GT350 you get a one off hand built FPC 32v/4cam $200K Ferrari type engine. With the Camaro you get an all purpose LS type assembly line engine that comes in Pickup Trucks, Vans, Motorhome etc.............This is the part that doesn't make sense to me. So when Ford came up with the s550 gtpp, it didn't even bother benchmarking the real competition previous gen 1le! Now Chevy comes in and benchmarkes the real competition gt350! (mustang gt is no longer a rival) I think instead of making jokes and ditching reality we need to think twice here! If the performance package camaro comes in even close to the performance of a gt350 and shows a significantly lower price, then we all should wake up from this nightmare!
I wonder if there a check box so the car doesn't look like a 2015 Camaro. LOLOne of the nicest things about the 1LE is it's a package. Check Box order a whole lot of car.

The Stingray was my realistic dream car.... that is, until the GT350 was born. When I found out the details on the GT350, the Corvette went straight out the window. There just isn't any comparison. Chevy will use that 6.2L in anything and everything that they can. With the GT350 you get a one off hand built FPC 32v/4cam $200K Ferrari type engine. That is why in 3 yrs your $45K Camaro will be worth about $20K. LOL
As it happenes to even gt500's the resale value of the gt350 will still go down. The worse problem is if Ford passes down the 5.2 to the regular mustang gt then things might get even more interesting. With the GT350 you get a one off hand built FPC 32v/4cam $200K Ferrari type engine. Yeah, good luck with that. HAHAThis is the part that doesn't make sense to me. So when Ford came up with the s550 gtpp, it didn't even bother benchmarking the real competition previous gen 1le! That is well said, and my favorite way I have heard the FPC described! The Stingray was my realistic dream car.... that is, until the GT350 was born. Don't get me wrong, it's a great engine for what it is, and it just makes business sense to put the engine everywhere they can, but there's absolutely nothing special about it. It's not just limited to the chevy V8. The Mustang GT's V8 does nothing for me either.
The GT350's V8 though, makes absolutely no sense, no one would bet in a million years Ford would make a 8200+RPM flat-plane crank, big V8. It just doesn't make any fucking sense, and it's perfect.
People keep saying that the Voodoo is like a Ferrari engine, but I would say it's actually a lot better than the Ferrari engines I'm aware of. Just look at the service costs on a Ferrari. With the GT350 you get a one off hand built FPC 32v/4cam $200K Ferrari type engine.
