I am from PA here. I left to go lift weights last night after work and the roads were clear so I didn't think twice about driving the stang to go pump some iron. while at the gym... mother nature decided to say fuck you and dump snow like crazy during my workout. So after finishing up my workout I had to drive through approx. 6 inches of snow :headbonk: I live on a hill and couldn't manage to get up it even after 10 or so attempts. I pulled it over, put my hazards on (by the way taillight sequencers look dope! :D) and got on my hands and knees looking for a place to hook up to have someone tow me up with their truck. I couldn't find a single place to hook to in the front or rear. the skid plate goes back to the front wheels. This is the first time getting stuck so I never had this issue before but does anyone know of a tow hook location or aftermarket part for future reference? Thanks.

I don't recall the mustang has one that you can screw into the bumper.

I'd think that he included the weight lifting as more of a backstory as to why he got stuck driving around in the snow. It's more interesting to read and understand the situation if there's a backstory included. It shows how and why he got stuck in the first place. If anything is irrelevant, it's your snotty comment on a post that's looking for some insight, rather than criticism.

I see this, but the diagram shows an access hole that my bumper does not have...

If any of you pay 200$ for a tow hook please refrain from breeding. Thanks
If you are using your car as a race car or something, then it might make sense. Everyone has their own budget and their own reasons. That being said, not something that I would do...

If it's about price, there aren't any other options short of custom. If it's about having a hook, how else would you propose pulling a car if/when you go off track and get stuck? You could always wrap a tow strap around the suspension, but that isn't going to end well for your bumper...

The Dusold mounts easily; you just have to remove the belly pan and then there are four bolts on the back side of the crash bar you remove the nuts from, place the Dusold bar over it, and use the supplied nuts to bolt it in place. The hook itself can be removed when not needed and there's no evidence there was ever one there.

You could always buy the EDM crash bar and bumper cover for an instant factory tow hook :D

Wow that escalated quickly!!!! Lol
Makes me glad I got a 4x4 f150 for winter. I don't have a hole in my front bumper, what if you go in ditch front first and they have to pull from rear?
