Focus RS VS Mustang Eco Boost

I just want to know how to make my ecoboost sound like an rs

Getting it tuned + a good catback changes the sound quite a bit. That was an unexpected plus when I first uploaded the tune. It made the tone deeper/more rumbly lol

From what I heard, they built a specific system into the RS engine to produce those pops and burbles. EBM doesn't have it.

That would surprise me in a good way. But we'll see soon enough


Side note, parked behind one today while I was filling up another M plate. It sounded soooo good when the guy started it up and drove away.

Edit* Just so everyone's aware, you can produce identical or better sounds like this from a tune. My 98 civic did/ does this on command, it's amazingly satisfying. Just takes a little extra fuel off-throttle ;)

Huh. Never would of guessed. < Edit* This was at Adam not using VCT in his tunes. Did you remove that from your comment?

So just turned up boost and more fuel/spark? I mean a bigger boom might sound different...don't really know how these changes effect the waveform.

Maybe someone can chime in with more experience tuning these

Could just simply be that the tuning runs richer than stock

I don't think any aftermarket tune is going to run richer than stock. Stock tune is already pig rich.
