the "header" itself is the same, they will have different boxes for each year, which will come with the proper 02 extensions for that year.

the mid pipe / lead pipes are the difference

any updates? I know in the LS world its all about stepped headers, I was wondering if these headers are putting up better numbers compared to the regular 1 7/8th headers?

I just got passenger side on last night drivers side going on tonight. I can couch while the install itself is some tight wrenching the fit is damn perfect on passenger side at least.

Same here. I rewatched the CJ Pony header video and they recommended threading in the new bolts while the header is off. I did that for the driver side and also cleaned out the holes with brake cleaner soaked q-tips. Made it a hell of a lot easier.

Hope you got a stubby wrench for the top rear. Its a bitch to get to!

we got to do a local install a few weeks back, customer didn't want any dynos, but fitment was easy, and just like the 11-14, these seem to be one of the easiest headers to get on the cars.

for the n/a guy especially, i think the stepped header is a great design and our forum pricing makes a great buy too!

Terry is right, it took me about (estimating) 5 hours to get the bolts off the passenger side header (stock)

I got the pypes passenger in and fully bolted up in about 1.5 hrs. Hardest part for me was figuring out how to tighten top bolt on engine mount. But so far is great experience.

I'm doing drivers side tonight, which looks simple in comparison to passenger side.

I have a before headers dyno of 670/590 SAE, I'm going to re-dyno in the next couple weeks to get comparison.

I've got pypes headers installed. My dyno numbers were low (405whp w/ lund tune) because the A/C line bolt was hitting the primary on the passenger side. Thinking I might be getting a dyno tune soon though.

While the headers were out, I popped out the bolt completely, rotated the line's bracket, and zip tied it to a another line sitting higher.

Yes I removed it while the headers were on. Pain in the ass to get to it. Haven't dyno'd since removal though, feels much smoother through the power band though.
