I would skip the Aluminator short block and use a reputable shop for the engine build. When they were introduced to the Cobra market they had alot of failures due to oil pump housings and cranks not having proper clearance. The general opinion was that they were built by the lowest bidder and machine work was substandard. I would imagine that FRPP still farms their engines out, if that's what you want to use I would find out who builds them. Personally I would avoid MMR as well.
