Yeah, but for what you paid for a 1200 sq ft DC apartment, you could probably buy this entire property.

Oklahoma is CHEAP on property.

I waited and waited... then got my realtor cousin to help me get a fairly new condo on foreclosure for under $150k soon as it listed.

Only great thing about living here is my heat has never been on... even when the temp drops in single digits. I regulate my heat by opening windows.

In the summer my bill never goes above $75... but I do pay a condo fee, which is cheaper than the normal rate in DC. Luckily I can't hear my neighbors.

I'm next to a metro in MD, not DC... and if I wanted to buy in DC, my place more than likely would have put me back $450k. If you can get your housing cost under control, DC can be a lucrative place to work.

It is all give and take... love my lifestyle... grew up in the country and still own a house in the country that I'll more than likely never go back to. Who knows... ;)

Getting the keys and moving into this little ol thing this Friday. Was in a tiny apartment. Got a crazy good deal with how many rooms and space this actually has and since it's only me, the wife, no kids but instead 2 cats, looking forward to having all the space for ourselves! But better yet, looking even more forward to having my own garage to get some real mods going on the pony!

If this thread is still up by some point, I'll try and post inside pics when were all moved in and settled. First thing to get done in the garage is hang up my Steeda banner!

My house is nothing special.

My 2nd garage though is half the size of my house. Both garages combined are almost the same sq ft as my house.

With my reflective foam blinds taken down, you would see this.

You can pull into the garage and get to be in drive in mode. 130inch projected screen with 7.2 surround sound.

Wired for LAN and Cable. Two 8x2 work benches. Electrical outlets within 10 feet of anywhere you stand. Two 240 outlets, one for welding and one for a lift.

Like video games? Try being in car while in car while in garage... it is like the movie Inception only in a garage...

Picture from when I cleared the cars out and had family over watching movies while laying in chase lounges. Bar countertop has hidden LEDs for when the mood strikes.

1:25 scales parked in their spots at the other end of the bar. Could not find a black 15 and silver 05 so I had to disassemble and paint them. Need to touch up the 05.

I'm recently out of a long term relationship (wasn't married and no kids) so I have this big huge house to myself. I didn't take any pictures of the upstairs because there is nothing up there. I need to work on getting the bonus room turned into a home theater.

Taking Netflix and Chill to a whole new level eh? :lol:

heh, I had a few friends moved down from New York the past few years. I was helping one of them move into their new place and he gave me an arfcom lower.
