Phone Screen mirroring on the TomTop 8" touch screen

I am interested in knowing how to mirror my Android Phone on the Tomtop unit I just installed.
If any of you here got this working can you post here exactly what you did to get this to work?

this may be a dumb question, are you looking to use the mirrored screen on the tom top as a touch screen to control the phone, or is it just going to be a display?

No that is not a dumb question...
Ideally I would like to control the phone through the Tomtop touch screen, but I dont know if that is even possible. If it is I would love for someone to explain how here in this thread.
If I can only mirror the screen with no touch function that is better than nothing.

that would be interesting. i know there was discussion in one of the other tomtop threads about a wifi device that one of the guys purchased to screen mirror, but i dont recall which one and what the results were.

Mirror is mirror. You will have a duplicated screen but you can not control/navigation you phone without touching on your phone's display. That being said, i ordered an "hdmi to RCA " converter and it will be delivered tomorrow so i can test phone mirror feature on this unit (I tested a bluray player and this unit works perfectly as your TV.) If it works, then i made a good $300 investment .
