The way I see it the Mustang is a beautiful girl with nice sized boobs....The Camaro has bigger boobs but an ugly head? There are no winners or losers here just different preferences???

Yet again.... those are some BS numbers. Carry on...

Indeed this on IG on a Canadian dyno.. Couldn't hit 400. Yes all c7s hit higher. Just bs dyno and number/input manipulation going on .. Anything to get jalopnik hits. Smart guy me thinks.

Carry on

Would have been great to see a Mustang roll straight up afterwards to get a reading..

Actually that wouldn't be a bad idea. Just throwing the Camaro on a dyno and claiming the HP numbers doesn't really mean jack. Yes it's in the ballpark but if we wanted a real comparison, strap a stock Mustang and then a stock Camaro to the same dyno on the same day right after another a few times and see what the differences are averaged out.

Even with the inaccuracies we could get a better baseline comparison.

Interesting read I saw earlier on a tech site on Apple Car Play...
General Motors said it has "anecdotal evidence" that CarPlay, available in over two dozen 2016 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC models, is helping sell new vehicles to customers, according to The Wall Street Journal. A pair of GM dealers confirmed CarPlay is "helping to close the deal" on purchases.
GM officials say they have anecdotal evidence of an impact, and agree the offering has been well-received. Phil Abram, executive director of connectivity an infotainment at GM, said customers have been asking for the feature for years and the company plans to expand it to as many more models as soon as possible. […]

"We've had people coming in because they've heard about it, and once they see it, they really do like it because it mirrors the look and feel of the devices they use," said Chris Hemmersmeier, chief executive of a chain of Jerry Seiner Dealerships in Salt Lake City, Utah. "It's helping to close the deal once they see it."
GM experienced sales growth during October and November, but the spurt cannot decisively be attributed to CarPlay. At the very least, GM's early adoption of CarPlay is helping draw some customers away from automakers that have yet to commit to the software platform, including the world's best-selling automaker Toyota.
Gavin McGrath, the general manager of Pat McGrath Chevyland in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been advertising CarPlay availability and it has drawn in customers.

"It certainly has helped us," he said. "The biggest thing that it has brought to the retail front is…navigation is going to cost $900 [to] $1,000 [as an option]. Here you have Apple CarPlay, and boom your nav is there. That has already helped us close deals."
Chevrolet supports CarPlay on all vehicles with 7-inch or 8-inch MyLink screens, including the 2016 Camaro, Colorado, Corvette Z06, Corvette Stingray, Cruze, Impala, Malibu, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500HD, Silverado 3500HD, Suburban, Tahoe and Volt. Our list of 2016 U.S. CarPlay vehicles covers Buick, Cadillac and GMC models.

2016 Camaro SS Pumps Out Impressive 431hp On The Dyno

http://www.carscoops.com/2015/12/2016-camaro-ss-pumps-out-impressive.html

but them looks....uhhhh
Already proven the Hennessey dyno runs high. The GT350 they tested put out 482hp at the wheels which is VERY high.

Transmission loss of only 8% on the GT350? Unlikely. The other REPUTABLE dynos/publications have shown it at 467-468hp. Right where 10-11% trans loss should be.

The other dyno run lined a few posts down fro yours showed 395 for the SS. That's a pretty LARGE difference between 395 and 431. Again, numerous reputable dynos/publications have shown 395-410ish at the wheels sounds right with drivetrain loss- 405hp is an 11% drivetrain loss. 431hp would be a 4.5% drivetrain loss from the 455 SAE rating- impossible.

Hennessey's word is anything but reputable these days, but the media is parroting the same bad info. I dont think it's coincidence it's Ford and Chevy tests were both way over what other dynos are showing. Even the folks over at the sister site we shall not speak of for Camaros are highly skeptical that this number is accurate.

Dynos are poor ways to compare different car models based on way too many factors to compensate for. They're good to tune a car for it's max power; what they're really for.

We're again talking a whole whopping 20hp between the SS and GT- pretty much a CAI without a tune difference. The SS also costs a bundle more so...

I don't think people are worried about the HP difference. Its the huge torque difference and the A8 on the SS.

But yeah, the dyno numbers are all over the place. This is why you have to take them with a grain of salt.
