That's good to hear...they need this...in fact almost all of the car companies need to be faster. Obviously some things you cannot rush like safety.

The performance vehicles will be such a small market/$$$ for them. It's more in general that their product lines have become stale/boring. I mean look at the changes between gens of Explorers, Escapes, Fusions, etc...they don't really make anyone excited except maybe for the new Mustang but...

Oh it's terrible in the back seat and the trunk/entry for the trunk is terrible. They missed the ball on this gen. They really need to rethink their design philosophy and lower that belt line and make the back seat usable. I can see GM going with AWD as the next big jump in their Camaros.

This is long overdue. They missed a whole buyer demographic with their set-up going from a V6 LT nicely loaded to a V8 SS track car. They don't have a V8 that is really for DD that doesn't have all the track features removed. I think they really thought that people would buy the 4 cylinder and...

If the 2020 had a v6 twin turbo and was aluminum why wouldn't you go with that. I mean look at Audi and their S/RS series cars that have gone from V8s down to V6's but yet are lighter/faster. You see a select few complaining but the rest/reviews/mags all like the engines/transmissions/etc...

At least for many it's about moving forward, not staying in the past with something. Ford will sooner or later make an AWD Mustang it will happen and sooner or later they'll be an all electric one. Otherwise they'll die with staying in the past. I'm seeing more and more EB Mustangs on the road...

Wait for the '18. Then decide on the EB or GT. And you can get the PP with MT/AUTO so you have lots of options. With the changes coming you'd be wise to wait unless you don't care about improvements across the board.

Same center dash/same infotainment center...so it's not really a Lulz.

I think the issue is more with the month/time of year. Releasing a sports car in November (and not a AWD) and where most of the county is already experience bad/winter weather is just a bad move in terms of common sense (maybe not production wise though).

Ford has already stated in various auto mag articles there is a spoiler delete available for the '18 Mustang on the PP. Also that's not accurate about customer orders. If the dealer does a customer order and uses one of their dealer allocation #s then your car will get built in the first group.

Should look into the new G70 coming out in a few months also. Supposed to be even better then the G80 (though with a V6, not V8)

There is a delete option for the PP spoiler. I don't think there is one for the black package (which is stupid). There should be a spoiler delete for all packages. Ford's thinking here is idiotic. They make the spoiler standard where it should be an option. Plus if you remove it you DO NOT get...
