I think I've had that dimple....I'll be outside the car, lean in and place one hand on the driver's seat cushion for balance and reach across the car to say the glove box. Then pull back and presto...big dimple where I placed my hand. Usually some more seat time got rid of it.

I just listened to the latest Motorweek podcast and a comment was made about how body panels in general are much thinner as they noticed it when attaching GoPro cameras.

Believe every Aero Ford since the '86 Taurus has had funky angles that didn't photograph well. One of my faves being the '89 T-bird supercoupe. Thought it was a sweet looking ride in person but in pics the front end just photographed too flat.
