Hmmm, I was thinking of taking the back pony off completely. Now I'm thinking doing that to it would be better.

Zombie if they produce blackouts for the tail lamps would you be doing that (or creating your own) ?

More plastidip.

I *Really* want the aftermarket guys, or Ford for that matter, to start selling the emblems (in matte and gloss black) or even the stock Pony and GT badges. Plastidip always makes me nervous about washing/waxing around it. :)
Hmmm, I figured if you wanted gloss black you would have painted it?

I must be missing something simple, spray paint won't stick?

I think the idea is you can remove the plastidip later no harm no foul.
Yeah. I want to always be able to put the car back to stock if I need to/etc.

Based on how the GT badge looks, I'm not sure gloss black would work, now that I have seen the matte black.

If you use plastidip glossifier it'll give it a shinier look instead of matte
For now, I think matte works, but I bought a can of glossifier. :)

I'm kind of experimenting.

Probably not. Those tend to be more of an issue with some of the local police, that and headlights.

Stay tuned on fog lights. :)

I think the matte looks great back there. I think a gloss look on the GT would blend into the background too much but who knows. Actually surprised how great the matte looks.
if you do the hood vents I think the shine would look better but who knows!
Damn this is exciting. Thanks for letting me live through you zombie haha.

Feels like plated plastic. I want the pony to almost disappear, so I went with black, but I kicked around the idea of gray.

Zombie, that Plastidipping looks fantastic. Especially the GT in the rear. I may have to get your advice on doing it later down the road on my Magnetic. Never considered it before but it does look really good. I'm not familiar with plasti dip, what color/kind are you using? because like I said, the rear GT emblem looks amazing now.

If you can get a way with a little bit of tinting the rear tail lights, IMO it will look awesomely sinister. Even with minimal tinting. I already thought about doing it myself, as it would look great on magnetic as well. Might darken the headlights a little, but I dunno. I prefer function over looks when it comes to headlights. Fog's I will keep but the Blinker markers inbetween the Fogs and headlights I will probably darken.

Agree. Tinting the taillights slightly will look great for sure.
It'll probably be tough to do because it's not just one flat surface. Alot of contours.

Is the front grill pony removable? I was thinking about how a clean grill would look without it? Is there an 'anchoring' plate behind the pony?
