Did you just draw that? That is f'ing amazing! Love it!

One other that I was thinking about this morning is LOL. People seem to stick LOL in add odd points in sentences, and for no apparent reason. Something like this: "I was just working on my car this morning and dropped a huge wrench on my foot lol. I think it may be broken lol."

I would guess it is being used as a crutch work, like some people say "uh". I had a college professor that used "basically" as his crutch word. It got so bad at one point that a bunch of us were making tick marks every time he said basically, and we got up to 160 times in a 40 minute span. He was even saying it in odd places, like "When we basically take this basically circuit and basically calculate out the resistance." It was very distracting, but made for a good conversation piece between us. :)

It's being used like punctuation, I see people write it all the time where it's clearly not appropriate, unless they're a f***nut.

Example, I _just_ saw written:

"Stay away from the old city this weekend, extra busy cuz of bike week LOL".

Really? That statement, then LOL, so expanded:

"Stay away from the old city this weekend, extra busy cuz of bike week HAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

You really did that, you made some non-humorous statement (that seems reasonable), then you laughed uproariously out loud, you're just sitting at a desk, office, with a computer, loudly laughing at something that's not even slightly funny.

What the actual fuck[?]

Actually, actually is actually used too much. I hear college kids do this all the time.

I know someone who uses "you know" in just about every sentence. That is a bit annoying too.

I started a file years ago of all these things, but stopped a few years ago as you will never defeat the growing ignorance of the world. Here is the list I built. Enjoy!

Some of these seem like just typos but I put them in the file as I saw each one at least several times.
