Lots of similarities, however I use Prima Car Care products. Hydro wash, Hydro Max and Hydro sprays to dry and finish. LOTS of Microfiber towels, sperate towels for washing and drying on different parts of the car. Just got a ceramic coating and paint correction, now I have to wait two weeks before I can wash it...

Actually I am a fanatic. Just got some liquid glass with the old corvette but in the plastic bottle. Worst stuff I have ever used. It does not dry and streaks like crazy on a black car.

I start by using the black nozzle on the pressure washer to rinse the entire car and wheels.

Next I use Chemical Guys foam wash in a foam cannon and cover the entire car in foam....then I use bucket 1 (only use if for wheels). It is filled with water and chemical guys wash. I use the lambs wool 4 finger wheel wash mitt to clean the wheels. i use a soft brush to clean each tire. I then rinse the wheels and entire car.

Next I foam the car again. I now use a 2 bucket method...

I loved mine too. ‘88 Mustang GT. I’ve been using liquid glass since the 80s but that was the only car that it did not work well on. Maybe I can blame shitty Ford paint which is still shitty today but that was the last black car I bought. Sorry you did not like the glass as I’ve been bragging it on here.

Let’s not forget to open trunk to let the 3000 gallons of water drain out , I’ve made the mistake of drying whole car then opening trunk. PP1 spoiler
Get a ChemGuys wooly mammoth drying towel and you only need 1, and I heavily rinse my car before pulling in garage to dry it and only use 1 towel for whole car.

Then I wake up, sigh and get my buckets out …

As you asked for it in simple steps :

• Power wash with snow foam.
• Power wash rinse (including 90 deg jet for under arches and sills etc).
• Two bucket hand wash. Lambs wool mitt. Two grit guards.
• Rinse with open hose - little need to dry here as we have great water.
• Remainder of the wash soap used on wheels with microfibre wash mitt (individual fingers), microfibre wheel brush and boars hair brush.

As and when required, I will add into the process :

• Iron remover wheel cleaner.
• Door, hood and trunk shuts.

Everything else is just done when needed - exhaust trims, plastics etc etc.
