This is the first car I've ever really been concerned about taking care of the paint job on. I don't want to wash it too often, and wear off the paint sealant. But I also don't want to wash it not enough and let the dirt and grime soak in and cause scratches and stuff.

in winter when it's rare warmish day like in the 40s - 50's, rest of the year about one a month

Once a week, weather permitting. During pollen season here in Atlanta, twice a week. Then I will do quick detailer between washes.

Here is my 03 Black Cobra that had almost 50k miles at 5.5 years old. I was the original owner as well. Untouched photo. Car was in better shape, paint wise at 5.5 years old vs. when I bought it brand new.

A well detailed car shouldnt need to be washed frequently (unless you live in an area that rains a lot or is very dusty) waterless wash should be fine in between washes. One of my friends washes his car once a month with waterless washes in between. Car looks immaculate

In the winter, when its warm enough, usually once ever few weeks, summer, at least once a week. Usually with ONR, though I am going to add a full water wash once a week this summer.

Roughly once a week. I use 10 wash mitts, 1 bucket, a 235mph leaf blower and like 30 microfiber drying towels. Because I have so many wash mitts, drying towels and a leaf blower, washing is actually pretty quick, doesn't take more than half an hour. I don't have to spend time e.g. rinsing and reusing wash mitts (I just wash them between car washes) or wringing out drying towels.
