I use ONR in between the weekly/biweekly normal washes.

That's true. I guess ONR isn't the only no-rinse cleaning solution. But it seems to be highly praised, and the general consensus seems to be that it does work as advertised. I've yet to find a bad review.

I've been using lately a mix of Auto Fanatic Snow Storm w/ Meguiars Shampoo in the foam Cannon and Meguiars Hyper Wash for contact wash.

Then Auto Fanatic Gloss or TW Ceramic Wet Wax for drying aid.

I have been cleaning my car at my normal car cash since I bought new it in 2015.

my flow is:

1. car wash
2. Dry remains with microfiber
3. Use graphine ceramic wax
4. Use inside job cleaner on interior
5. condition leather seats
6. vaccume

This is kinda complicated but so worth it in the end;

Step one: drive to touchless carwash
Step two: pay/enter
Step three: Leave/Go about your day

Looks as good as those who take pics of there car after it looks like a T-Rex spoofed all over it. Haha.

What! How dare you!

Don't you know it best to take 4 hours every week cleaning your car and spending the rest of the week trying to figure out what you will use or buy to do it again in 7 days!

 🤪

Biggest issues with automated car washes (touchless)
1. if you have lowered your vehicle or an agressive splitter beware
2. water pressure can sometimes be aggressive... i've had vehicles where the water and soap are seeping inside
3. soaps can be a bit harsh...

not sure of some places, but all the ones here you drive up and stop. The sprayers go around the car.

Hand wash every two weeks. I use a rinseless wash, then a detailer spray afterwards. I also use a waterless spray in-between to get road grime, bug and bird crap off. I have xpel ppf full front and then ceramic coat the entire car so it does make cleaning a little easier.

I have been using nothing but Chemical Guys for a while and I love it. They have a soap that strips the car down to the clear and a different soap that doesn’t peel all the wax off, so it depends what I’m doing. I have their foam cannon I use with my pressure washer, then buckets with dirt traps and a soft mit. Dry the car, then (if needed) a coat of hydroslick, then seal, then wax. They have a tire shine works well without being so slick that I spin tires everywhere and an interior cleaner/protector I use too.

2x a year I do their hydroslick ceramic/wax stuff. I don’t need to wash the car very often, in between I use the hydroslick spot detailer.

Spray down wheels and exhaust with iron remover

Get wheel bucket with brushes and all dedicated items. Fill bucket with whatever car soap, scrub ridiculous amounts of brake dust off wheels, clean fender wells, and light touch side skirts splitter rear valance and exhaust.

Rest of the car is:

2 bucket with rock shields microfiber mitt

If car is super dirty I will use a 25 dg nozzle and spray off large debris and BS. Then foam cannon Everything amd starting at the roof and work my way forward, in single line motions (no back and fourth or swirling) and work my way from top to bottom.

Spray off and then blow off as much water as possible. Then I use water hog 5'x5' towel and single direction wipe, without pressure. I drag the towel. I do a pass wring it out, shake it out and go back.

Once dry its isopropyl on all glass, then i'll use detailing spray to finish the whole care including the glass and the under side of the wipers.

I break out my chemical guys rubb and vinyl that i have cut 50/50 with water and spray down a microfiber applicator and dress the tires.

Ive treated all my plastic and rubber with graphine, so there isnt any additional steps.

My usual process is:

1. Rinse
2. Snow foam
3. Rinse
4. Repeat snow foam
5. Clean down with a microfiber wash mit
6. Rinse
7. Tar removal process
8. Wheel clean (A whole different process)
9. Dry
10. Nano Coating
11. Tyre dressing

It is a bit over the top but the process gives great results:
