Yank converter?

I know 99% of the A6 guys on here are running a Circle D converter. Has anyone ran any other brand. Yank sells a converter for $300 cheaper with similar specs. Just looking at options before jumping on the Circle D band wagon.

Never heard of yank are they new or have they been around for a while? The reason why circle d's cost more is the billet construction.

They've been around for a while but mostly dabble in GM cars. I know a bunch of camaro guys run their converters with no problems.

I dont think you will have any issues with yank. there are other companies even cheaper then yank! Its a question of how much you really want to spend!

I have a Precision Industries. It's a triple disc and also billet. Have had no issues.

Yank makes a good converter, but their 6r80 one is only rated to around 650whp. I've also been looking into Precision Industries they make a really nice billet construction unit and are a tad cheaper than circle D by about 100-200 They also offer a free re-stall within 2 years of ownership

I had a Yank in my 2000 Trans Am, at the time they were very highly rated and I never had a problem with it. Not sure about them on the S550.
