XPEL XR plus install cost?

It’s been a while since I’ve had a car tinted. Sticker shock just hit me.
I was quoted $925 for all windows including windshield. Don’t know if I should continue to look or just go with the highly recommend installer I saw a couple hours ago.
I understand the Xpel XR Plus is pretty darn good stuff.

I got llumar ceramic Tint on mine for like 675 all windows including windshield times have changed haha before a 250 dollar tint job was big money haha

I got all windows, no windshield, Pinnacle ceramic tint for $260 cash.... At a different detail shop on Cape Cod I got two years ago got my Camaro 1le done and it was 240.00. Both very reputable places.

Damm lucky we only have several places here so them guys kinda use that as leverage and there only 1 that actually uses good film so we got no choice than to pay lmao

Ya here they are a dime a dozen most of them pretty good.

That’s crazy expensive even for CA. I’d take a road trip to save some cash and enjoy a drive. Is that installer set up with Xpel for the patterns or are they hand cutting everything. I always have a hard time fathoming what gets quoted and people pay. I was lucky, close friend does a lot of business with Xpel. He hooked me up with Xr on the windows, and Plus on 2/3’s of the car about 50% more then what you got quoted for just the windows. I did not do the front windshield though, my car will rarely be out in the sun.

WAY too expensive. i got mine done on my R about a yr ago. how much did i pay from a reputable mobile tint shop? about 1/4 of your quote. no joke. installed rayno S5 phantom nano-ceramic 35% all around and rayno air70 windshield. love it.

keep looking fred. if you were closer to me, i'd connect you with my guy. he has done 3 cars of mine.

What you guys are saying is what, once I had time to digest, I’ve been thinking. I’ll look around for sure. He’s the only Xpel rep in my city but I know there are other great products out there. I also know the installation is probably the most important thing.
I was supposed to get hooked up, but it appears the only discount is going to the one who hooked me up. Dealership guys ;-)
It’s like going to Vegas, everyone’s palm gets greased weather you know it or not.

Literally just had this done. XPEL XR Plus 35 on all windows and 70 for the windshield. Paid 700 plus tax

I've got side and back tinted with Xpel XR Plus set on 35. I paid $350. The installer quote me windshield but I don't remember the price(I think it was additional $350).
