i'm going to go a little darker on the windshield with the rest of my cars. probably go 70 or 50. i mainly want it to reduce glare for night time driving. is 50 to dark for night driving. any input is appreciated.

How difficult is it to remove the wrap after a few years and does it affect the paint? Will the wrap do any damage to OT stripes?

the ott is not wrapped. they custom cut in between.

removal is easy and quality wrap should not affect paint in the future or discolor the wrap. you remove and replace sections of the wrap that has been damaged due to rock chips at your leisure.

i used xpel ultimate which is a high quality wrap.

No issues driving at night w/50 on the windshield. I thought about it for a week because I had the same concerns you have but I've had it for over a month now and its been great.

To add to that, I had ~35% all around on my car, including the windshield, and it was fine for me. I plan on doing a similar % when I get the car

Shift does having 35% on the windshield make the rest of the windows seem darker during the day since less light enters the cabin?

I know you asked Shift but I previously had 50% all around and 70 on the windshield. The picture is what it looked like (in the rear vs no tint in the front)

Now I have 40% all around and 50 on the windshield on my GT350. In both instances the other Windows appeared darker due to the windshield being done.

Good reply. I couldn't give him a proper answer, as I don't know. Mine was a black car, black interior, all around darker tint, it all affected it.

I also had the coupe version of that Accord that I just sold in preparation for the GT350. Great car, minus bluetooth audio lag.

Is the car you're talking the one in the back? Cause if it is that looks pretty dark for only 50%. Which is a good thing haha [emoji1417] I have 35% all around so hopefully it'll be even darker.

Yeah one in the back.. I've added a better picture here as well at my GT350 in the garage tonight, I'm sure you can see the difference.

I HATED the bluetooth in my Accord, I never used it whereas that is the only thing I use in my Shelby. I do miss 35mpg, and overall it was a cool car to have, the 6 speed was on par with the transmission in the GT350, hard to say which was better.

Make sure you keep those windows rolled down when passing a cop if you're in California. I JUST got mine tinted 15% on the sides and was pulled over a couple hours ago and issued a fix it ticket.

Interesting approach. I plan on Xpel over the stripes. I suppose one could also remove put stripes on top of the Xpel.
