Do you mind PMing me the details? I am in NJ, not sure how far, but I can make the trip there if he gives me a good price for the full car.

I think the full front including A-pillar, headlights, mirrors costs $1600-2000 everywhere, but there is a huge price discrepancy when it comes to full car or rear.

Also considering all the panels have to be removed including the rear and front bumper, you really dont want to go the cheapest one on this (given the panel gapping issues this car has).

I'm close to NYC, and everything is expensive here.
Sent you a PM with details. No one will take panels off. Most reputably shops will wrap as mush as possible but they can't really from some pieces so they are pre cut and you may see a small line.

Got a price yesterday, $900 for the front bumper, fenders & Hood (bikini cut), headlights.
Called another shop $1400 Front bumper, hood (bikini cut), rockers and rear bumper & headlights
FYI, you will catch a lot of crap in that bikini cut hood. I'd seriously recommend doing the entire hood.. The rear bumper is really not needed unless you drive in reverse. I would understand doing the 1/4's. Of course that is just my opinion.

I did the full hood in 1 complete section then had a stripe laid down over top of it. Looks amazing. I would agree on not doing a bikini cut hood. Do the whole thing otherwise it will look strange.

When you say "crap" you mean possible damage? Or people talking "crap"?
I have the bikini cut on my GT500 and I like it, can barely tell it's there.
Want to do the rear bumper cause of my parking area at work, have some scuffs from people walking behind it.
Probably going to do the whole car anyways and be done with it.
For what is worth, I've heard the 3m will yellow over time, my Xpel still looks great on my other car.

Stripe done after?

Did not realize I could do that. That's good news.

Yep, stripe is on top of the Xpel b/c it is a Matte black and PPF over it would have changed its color a bit compared to the rest of the car. Also I did not want seams on the hood. Yes, I know that I will have to redo the stripe in 5 yrs but after 5 yrs in South FL sun it will need to be redone anyway.

You cant even tell !

As noted above, geography matters when it comes to the cost of a wrap. There should also be a correlation between cost and the experience of the installer. Ask to see examples of the shop's work, and ASK IF THEY OUTSOURCE THE WORK. That's what bit me with my experience.

The cleanest, most invisible wraps are achieved after some disassembly to prevent edges from being shown. Budget that in if you want them to remove the mirrors, spoiler, badges, grilles, etc.

My edges are all wrapped and they didn't remove a single panel.

But your film edges butt up against the mirrors, spoiler, and you have cutouts for the badges, grilles, etc.

Thats fantastic news.

I'm still not certain I'll be putting them on, but it's nice to know I have the option.

My expert locally told me that it's much easier to do, and the results are better to install without stripes. Didn't realize I could do after.

Urs does look super.

It will collect dirt, polish, wax and will be very visible.
