Nice! You said with remote control? So there is a butterfly valve that you can control the flow? Wouldn't that plug the flow and create a back pressure?

Check out their website the butterfly valve is in the muffler itself and when it's closed it routes the exhaust through three chambers and when open its a straight through design. In one of their videos they answer the back pressure question directly (spoiler: there is "none" because of the design.)

I would buy this kit in a heartbeat I hope they release it soon.

I talked to the distributor about these last night. SUPER nice guy. He said that they are in mass production of these now and they will hit in 60-90. Demon Coyote was right about AM being exclusive out of the gate. He said that the entire cat back kit with both mufflers with valves, remote etc... will be in the $1100-$1200 range retail....seems like a steal considering what the other kits are going for....he said if you call AM they should take a pre-order for those interested....P/N is FM15-CBS. They referred me to this vid... [ame]

I also got a chance to talk to this guy I found on youtube and he told me he was using the X-Force mufflers on his car. I love the sound and the tone that his exhaust setup makes in the video below. If you go to his channel you can check out his other vids. He does have the S197 5.0 but it should give everyone a rough idea of what they sound like:

Hahah I don't know what you guys think but this exhaust setup is the best out there! Its just incredible to tame it down whenever you want and let the beast out whenever you please! I would call it the Beast Mode!

What's it take to hook up the mufflers electrically? Where do they want you to get the power from - how does it hook up to the car's electrical system?

Its very simple, the plugs from each muffler are waterproof and connect between the two mufflers than I ran the wires through the drain plug where the spare tire goes then ran the wire through the bottom driver side plastic panels and placed the module behind the clutch from there power is acquired with the supplied cigarette litter plug which could b spliced and get power from somewhere else.

So... They are using a power window lift motor to rotate the valve inside of the muffler, I wonder if the company that builds these are replacing the plastic gear and bushings that is used inside with a metal gear in order to protect them from high heat. (hopefully they are)

just my 2 cents...

We use metal gears for the Varex.
