Xplan sheet doesn't add the advertising fee which can be $350-$450. Also check true car for pricing and see if a local dealer uses it. You can sometimes save more money with true car than with x plan
ADV Ass is $543 on my car. Fuel is $53.12.

This may be a stupid question but why are people still using the spread sheet when you can just use the Ford website  Up to date and includes current rebates if you're searching local inventory.

I yet to find true car beat X-Plan in my area, besides the 750 you get from EAA($40) Plus Black Friday rebate. $1250 off of X-plan is a pretty stout deal. I never found a dealer interested in true car, basically no interest in giving away a car.

Correct me if I'm wrong but all rebates go to dealer so they would be included in True Car price?
I actually only found 1 dealer who wouldn't use true car...they just didn't want the sales number I guess. I bought mine from the #1 ford dealer in the Midwest and they matched everything I said another dealer would do and they also took true car. They also found me the best rate out of any dealer....don't know how they are making any money off me and really couldn't care either :) best deal gets my business and I told the sales guy right up front that, guess they just wanted another sales number to put on the board to keep them #1 in sales

My fee was $431, and $53 for gas

I still need this $750 coupon for a delivery date Jan/Feb
Good luck with that. I don't know how dealers make money with it either, they agree to a price not knowing if rebates will be there or not at delivery. I always thought True Car was just for in stock (on the lot) cars not for deals in the future.

Yah true car says in stock only but 2 dealers both agreed to match it :) I have no idea why but it was just as easy as bringing in the true car sheet and deal was done. I'm not going to ask questions if I get the price I want :)

Ford pays the dealership for all the rebates and incentives. Its free to the dealer, just a delay of payment until ford cashes them in.

Understood, how does the dealer make any money selling a car well into holdback to match a true car price? Ford does not pay for that .

I went to true car website and for the car I have on order was
quoted 44,500; my current MSR is 42,700 and that is without
counting my X-Plan and 750 EAA and 250 Ford coupon and
Military Appreciation. I will stay with what I already have.

There is a lot of "trunk money" in the cars that anyone outside of the GM or accounting management will never fully know.

And, sometimes some models are known to sell at a lower margin to make numbers.

I just bought my car yesterday and the x-plan did go up about 400 for me from what it was a couple weeks ago. Luckily the 500 for Black Friday made up for it.

If you bought off the lot yes. If you ordered your car retail it's locked in at the price at time of order.

To clarify this for me:
Xplan = (Dealer Invoice -4%) +275

Does the Ford Build it Site include this in the end Sum, or do you take off the 4% and add the 275 plus Advert Fee plus Fuel fee and the Doc Fee ($100 max)?

Such as this:

Base Price.................... $34,037
Equipment Group 401A ......$1,622
Automatic ......................$1,074
Enhanced Security Pkg ........$358
Premier Trim w/Accent ........$357
Reverse Park Assist ............$267
Navigation System .............$719
Destination Fee .................$825
Invoice Total ..............$39,259
Invoice - 4% ................($1,570)
Advertising 1.63% .............$614
Fuel .................................$58
Document Fee ..................$100
Admin Fee .......................$275
Grand Total ...............$38,736
