Will quiet mode be just as quiet as with the stock resonator with
a X pipe with the active exhaust. Concerned about cold start-ups and long road trips.

No it will not be as quiet but it will still be very quiet. I have cat deletes and an H pipe and quiet mode doesn't wake the neighbors, and you can barely hear it while driving with the radio on unless you go full throttle.

Some one stated that with the H-pipe in place of the stock resonator, quiet mode is now more like normal mode. Would you folks agree with that?

I think quiet mode with a H pipe is still quieter than stock normal mode by a decent amount.
