Can you save a quiet mode option to MyMode? I've been trying to save it to MyMode for those 3 hour long drives up north to the family compound but it never seems to save despite holding OK.

Quiet mode just for starting the car?

I have the Track Exhaust setting saved as the MyMode on my car so not sure why you cannot save Quiet Mode in the same way. On the other hand, I never heard of anyone wanting done that way either. Why don't you leave it in Quiet Mode all the time and just make MyMode set to Track like most people do? You can force Quiet Mode all the time by setting it to 12am - 12am.

just set it for quiet start mode for all hours and leave it. It will be in quiet mode until you change it after starting. I think you can set it for all but one certain hour for the gap in the program times

You can set quiet mode for 24 hrs like from 12 am to 12 am.

Yes, you can absolutely save quiet mode with MyMode. Obviously, when you shut off the engine, it defaults to Normal but a flick of the toggle puts it into MyMode again.

Any recommendations on how?

Without starting the engine (but having the electronics on) I go to MyMode and then add the QUITE MODE exhaust and SAVE it. Then I flip through the modes again (without shutting off the car electricity) and it seems to be back to NORMAL

I have never set MyMode without the engine running. Not sure if that makes a difference. I go to MyMode and set each parameter, drive mode, steering and exhaust the way I want them and then save it. I have it set to quiet for around town use since I do not want to draw unwanted attention. For trips with the wife, I also use flip it to MyMode for the quiet. She makes sufficient noise.....

I'll pull it out of the garage later after work and take it down the street. See if I can set it with the engine running and see if that makes difference.

Your use case is exactly what I want to use it for lol.

How do you save it? You hit the "Pony" button and the display shows "Hold OK to Save as MyMode" Hit OK.

Yes, that is how I am saying it. I hold OK to save it and let the progress bar go.
It shows that it is saved.
Then if I scroll through all the modes back to My Mode it doesn't show it as saved :X

FIRST..... Set everything how you like it for steering mode, exhaust mode, drive mode, etc.

THEN... switch to MyMode and you will see that MyMode reflects the current setting for all the modes available on your car (that you just set). Then just HOLD down the OK button and it will save everything as MyMode.

I would do all of this with the engine running and on the same drive cycle.

This is your issue, any exhaust mode change you make before starting the car gets reset, it'll start in normal no matter what (unless you have quiet start time range enabled). People run into this a lot trying to get it to start in track mode for example.

Thanks!

Thanks all. I'm waiting till lunch hour so I can get down to the garage and take it for a quick spin and do these changes! I'll report back the results.

I thought he knew that already. It was one of the main complaints when this option first became available. Anyway it takes only 2 quick taps of the mode switch to get what you want.

It worked. Had to have the engine running for it to stick for some reason.

Just gotta figure out how to adjust the ride comfort now and save that since I do have magneride. Those long highway trips should still be enjoyable lol
