This started in the early nineties, dealers pay 1 or 2 guys top money to diagnose the vehicles, then the car gets handed off to the parts changers who make little more than a jiffy lube flunky.but the dealerships are hiring B level techs with oil change experience and throwing them into full engine out jobs. I hope it changes
