After several months of searching and missing out on a couple cars because I thought about it too long, I found another one I'm interested in. Problem is it is a very long drive (about 9 hours). Its a 16 ruby red auto premium with foundry wheels, nav and ceramic interior for 35k. I found a similar one much closer here in Ohio, but it has the reg. wheels and black interior. I also found a couple sweet looking CO cars not too far away, but they most likely will be a couple grand more d/t a few more options I really don't need. I wonder if some dealers may trade to get a car just like you want without charging too much extra or if I'm stuck having to pick what they have or continue to look and maybe taking a road trip?
I did take a trip last week to try to get a guard near the coast that was 7k off, but it was a nightmare. I got lost twice d/t no nav or cell phone, about ran out of gas, car almost overheated and by the time I got there they had just sold it. Then I had to turn around and drive right back. In hindsight I should never tried to do it all in one day and should have called to let them know I was coming out first. They did have a manual guard at a good price, but IDK just have my mind set on an auto this time, although it did seem to shift easier and the clutch was much lighter than my 14. They also had a white auto premium, but it was the wrong color and had recaro seats which looked nice, but were a little tight in the back since I'm a lifter.
