Worn Inner Bushing- Steeda RR Adjustable Camber Arms

Well it's that time again. Inner bushing of my Steeda Billet camber arms are worn and giving vertical wheel play again. Anyone else have this problem? Thinking about getting a machinist to make some AL or steel inserts a good idea?

We are still awaiting feedback from the customer but I will provide the thread to our lead tech for his input.

They said there should be limited issues moving forward & should be no popping - unless the steel bushing sleeve wears ... which it can over time & is considered a wear part.

Copy that TJ. Thanks! Would you please see if the lead tech can give us a ballpark idea, (in terms of mileage), when we end users might need to consider replacing the steel bushing sleeves as routine preventative maintenance?

Email shows me requesting the delrin and the steel sleeves in Oct 2020. Mileage unknown. Its actually the delrin piece that seems to wear and am wondering on having machined from steel. The play is too minute to capture, but I can definitely feel it translating to the inner bushing.

I bought replacements and they were worse. Asked for refund and belive there was no response as I dont see anything after that. I still love them though I suppose..

I believe I have something similar going on with my rear passenger wheel. I just had my rear passenger wheel bearing replaced and I still have play when rocking my wheel at 12 and 6. My rear driver side wheel is solid, I can't move it at all. I've had these camber arms installed for a little over 30k miles. It's been a week since I last worked on it, but it looked like the camber arm was moving slightly when I was rocking the wheel at 12 and 6.

@JKL1031 did you have a clunking noise in the rear when going over bumps or hitting potholes? I do, but I can't be sure if it's the camber arm, or possibly a damaged shock mount.

Honestly I have an acceptable amount of clunking noise most s550 have lol. Ive shuffled around the bushings and used some I had machined to get the wheels good now but still have some noise.

My clunking noise is loud enough to be heard over music. You would of known right away if you had a similar noise. I'm pretty sure the bearing in my Steeda shock mount is bad. I think that's what's causing my clunk. I have OEM replacements, just not sure when I'll have time to install them.

Did the rear of your car feel loose with the worn inner bushing? Mine feels like it's loose if I steer left and right quickly.
