Wondering about the line lock..

Never have used the line lock- not sure if I ever will- but IF I did, how much rubber would be burned off with a MILD smoke out? Tires have 17,000 miles.

Measure with tire tread gauge before doing it... that's the only real way to know...

Tires on these cars are pricey, I'll wait till they are balona skins, before I smoke them up.

If your running the mp4s's you can get a lot of burnouts out of them. I was getting about 20k miles per set of rear tires and replacing them with about 3/32s of tread left. I probably had 20-30 burnouts on each set too. I'd max out the timer and even keep rolling out from there while doing burnouts sometimes and the amount of rubber you loose from a single burnouts isn't even measurable with a tire gauge. I tried multiple times.

Also if your going to try out line lock just remember when it tells you to apply the brake you have to press it harder than you think.

I wanted to try the line lock before i got new tires, but couldn't get it to work. After i got new tires i miraculously figured it out. Smdh. Did a short one. Lots of smoke and quite a bit of tread. Was very awesome except for tread lost
