Why would you want to? Wix racing filters let 60 microns through, vs. the standard which only let's 20 micron sized crap through.

It was more about availability and price.

With my build, the OCI will be between 2500-3000 due to heavy Ethanol dilution (assumed) and track days.

Of course I will be sending samples to Blackstone for analysis every time, including the initial break in oil.

I would up just going with the Ford Racing Filter anyways due to not enough data on the WIX Filter on BITOG and the change to Chinese manufacturing instead of US.

For street use the racing filters (not just Wix) that allow greater particulate matter through will cause premature wear. If it was only seeing track days, and the oil was getting changed after each race weekend, that would be a reason to use a race filter.
