Notice any latency issues?
So far the only slight complaint is the initial connection takes 30 seconds or so. That's nothing major and certainly something I can live with. Other than that, no. I have only had it in for a day so time will tell. I will report back next week after a little more time using it.

I have one as well and seems to work well. I have noticed a slight delay when pressing buttons on the touch screen. Maybe 1-2 second lag. Otherwise audio seems to sound the same.

First issue but no fault of the device. It does not like heat. I had it sitting in the little space below the sync system/controls and it gets hot there. Also the sun was shining on it when I was in the store for a few. Came out and it connected and was playing music from my phone but nothing on the screen. Kept saying loading.
I thought that was a good spot due to the short cable it came with and the unit fit there perfectly. That way I could keep the phone charger in the center console.
I moved it to the center console. It cooled down and back to normal.

Whatever Amazon unit I use doesn’t have that much lag, but it’s definitely nice to have. I can’t believe in the name of safety it doesn’t come from the factory this way.

Good to know.
I wouldn’t use it for the 500 but if the manual ‘22 Mach 1 I have on order is built then it’ll be my DD and I’d definitely use that device.

I think they are great and can’t understand why it’s not built in as standard … ?

This is the exact one I use in all my cars and it has been flawless. Little pricey but it’s the best one on the market. Should have been included from the factory.

I did some googling and I could only find one site that listed this model in their top adapters. PCMag and CNET didn’t even talk about it. Most of the other review sites are owned by manufacturers so they’re biased lol.

Ordered a Apple CarPlay dongle. Works great. No more hardwiring to the car for CarPlay.

Just ordered it and will give it a try when it comes in tomorrow. I've been looking for a wireless option, I had wireless carplay in my supra and miss it very much. Thanks for the recommendation!

That’s a pretty clean set up.

Yeah, I cannot speak to the legitimacy of "best on the market" as I was referred to it from guys in the Maverick forum. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer and it has worked flawlessly. So much so that I got three more for my wife and kids.

Is the main advantage to this just being able to control it through the factory controls? I’ve gotten so use to Siruis I’m out of the loop.
