Mine lives in the garage year round, so when we got the warning shot here in Cleveland the day after Halloween, mine was already safe. I actually dropped it down to storage insurance the weekend before, but didn't cover it until last Saturday.

I have the pigtail for the tender hooked directly to the battery, just like I did on the convertible. I have the tender itself mounted on the wall with a 20' extension to reach the pigtail under the hood.

Looking towards Pikes Peak from my house this morning. I got about 7”. Heading out to plow the driveway — ATV with blade.

Except for the age, man I genuinely envy you. You live in paradise.
Me and my wife are saving to move away from our condo an independent house, the point is, this picture is my idea of independence.

Anyway, just stowed away mine. Washed, pumped up the tires, battery tender... you know the drill.

My Mustang is also parked for the winter. I just bought a 2021 LT1 for winter driving duties.

Thanks for the nice words! I am blessed in so many ways — fortunate and thankful!

Nice seeing updated pics of your car, even putting it to bed. I remember following the saga of you getting it! Enjoy!!

Here's a better one, at the beginning of spring, on the beautiful city of Salò with another 150 fellow Mustangs. The lady is my wife.
Definitely worth the wait (for getting both the subjects of the picture!):

I have the battery tender hard-wired underhood on my S197. It’s been in there for about seven winters now. I just plug the power cable in and run it out under the cover. Got nine years out of the original battery with the tender; currently at four years on the “new” battery.

I always drive mine thru the winter, usually a couple days after it snowed and at least once a week or every other week. I drive the main road in front of my house. I wait for all the salt and wet slushy crap to be gone.

My daily driver is a GTI. That front wheel drive is pretty good even with just all season tires. I'm retired so I just don't drive when it snows unless I absolutely have to.

I did mine the same as Skye. I have the same charger/tender as him, but mine is CTEK. I like being able to glance and see the status when in my garage, especially since I have the cover on my car.

I’ll be having my last drive today, get the car inspected by Thanksgiving, then hibernating till April. 2024 will be my HPDE year! Woohoo!
