I thought I'd clarify my comments from earlier.

Hardtop, quarter window: the exterior rubber/vinyl seal for the rear quarter is affixed to the window assembly itself. If the weatherstripping needs to be replaced, the window, internal seal and outside seal are all one piece. Junkyards will sell quarter window assemblies on eBay and other sites.

Convertible, quarter window: the weatherstrip affixed to the unibody can be removed and replaced by removing the interior panel, window, etc., so as to gain access to the seal itself.

Door, convertible or hardtop: the weatherstrip affixed to the top of the door, the base of the window, can be replaced. The weatherstrip can be removed by removing the inside door panel, window, etc., to get access to it.

Ive tried a lot of these plastic trim restorers.... They usually wear off in a few days.

Just took this picture; the light colored blob there is a spot that I missed under the wiper when putting it on.
I put the product on in AUGUST 2025

Its almost a year later and its still on.
And Im street parked outside 365 days a year.

Try that before you go replacing stripping.
And put it on all your plastic trim... just be patient and mask off what youre working on.

It might not solve your problem... I see some weird mottling going on there, but its worth a shot for 40 bucks

303 is a good UV protectant. It doesn't last long though and will need to be reapplied every other month.

Cerakote is also a great product and lasts longer than 303.

I don't know which is better for uv protection though.
