Hey all, so im not sure if this has happened to others or not but here's the issue im having. Every time my driver and passenger windows go up or down im left with a streak/smear of something on the inside of my tint.

car was tinted at the dealer before i took delivery and ive had this issue since day one...just finally driving me crazy enough to have it looked at.

I'm going to try to attach a couple pics to better illustrate the issue. thanks all!

It's not damaging the tint? The streaks wipe clean? If so, I'm guessing the window runners at base of window are dirty. Roll window all the way down and run a damp cloth between the exposed strips at top of door and see if it comes away filthy.

Maybe some grease or lube possible soap residue ( this is probably it) in the weather strips need to roll windows down soak part of ray in alcohol wrap it on a flat tool and thoroughly clean the horizontal weather strips.

I do it couple times a year just so grit doesn't scratch windows, especially now I have a new tint.

I also apply silicon grease in upper weather stripping so no squeak from glass and slot in with minimal resistance.
